ITINERARY

Day 1:- International Arrival in Lima

Upon your arrival at Lima International Airport, our staff will be waiting to assist you and provide a private transfer to your hotel in the city. Once settled, you will receive a detailed briefing about your itinerary, including:

  • Vouchers covering all the services included in your tour package.
  • Important information regarding pick-up times, tours, transportation, and practical recommendations for your trip across Peru.

The remainder of the day will be free for rest and personal activities, allowing you to recover from your international flight.

Day 2:- Lima / Cusco: City Tour and Visit to Nearby Ruins

  • Early morning: After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, our staff will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

  • Morning: Free time to rest and acclimatize to the altitude (Cusco is located at 3,350 m / 10,990 ft). We recommend enjoying a light lunch at your hotel’s restaurant to avoid altitude sickness.

  • Afternoon: Around 1:30 p.m., your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby to begin the City Tour of Cusco, including:
  • Main Square (Plaza de Armas)
  • Cusco Cathedral
  • Temple of the Sun (Koricancha)
  • Kenko ceremonial center
  • Tambomachay (Water Temple)
  • Puca Pucara (Inca military site)
  • Sacsayhuaman Fortress, famous for its massive stonework
  • Return to hotel around 6:00 p.m.
  • Optional: Dinner at a typical restaurant with folkloric show, featuring Andean music and traditional dances (recommended but not included).

Day 3:- Cusco: Sacred Valley of the Inkas

  • Early morning: Departure from Cusco for a full-day excursion to the Urubamba Valley, known as the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
  • First stop: Visit to the traditional Pisaq Market, held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. This market is famous for its vibrant atmosphere, colorful handicrafts, and the ongoing practice of traditional barter.
  • Buffet lunch: Enjoy a typical buffet lunch at a local Andean restaurant (usually included, unless otherwise specified), offering a variety of regional dishes.
  • Afternoon: Continue the journey through the scenic towns of Calca and Urubamba, arriving at Ollantaytambo, where you’ll explore:
  • The Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, an important site built to defend the Sacred Valley.
  • The charming streets of the town, still inhabited by descendants of the Incas, preserving traditional architecture and customs.
  • Return to Cusco: In the late afternoon, return to your hotel in Cusco.
  • Evening free: We recommend a relaxing stroll around Plaza de Armas and trying a Pisco Sour at one of the local pubs or restaurants.

Day 4:- Cusco / Machu Picchu - Inca Trail (Cusco - Piscacucho Km. 82 -Wayllabamba)

At approximately 6:30 a.m., your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you by bus to Km 82, arriving around 10:30 a.m. Here, you’ll meet the trekking team who will accompany you on the journey, including porters, camp assistants, and cooks.

Your trek begins from this point. The first day is considered relatively easy. As you cover the initial kilometers, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the snow-capped Veronica Mountain, walking alongside the Vilcanota River. Along the way, you’ll visit the Archaeological Complex of Patallacta, where you’ll stop for lunch and take time to recover your energy.

The day ends as you reach Huayllabamba, where your first campsite will be set up for the night.

Day 5:- Inca Trail (Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca - Pacaymayo)

After breakfast, you’ll begin the most challenging section of the Inca Trail. A steep ascent awaits, requiring approximately 3 hours of continuous trekking to reach the highest point of the trail: the Warmiwañusca Pass, also known as the “Dead Woman’s Pass”, located at an impressive 4,200 meters above sea level (13,779 ft.).

From the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Andean landscape, and experience the satisfaction of having conquered the trail’s most demanding climb.

After a well-deserved rest, you’ll descend to Vizcachayoc, where lunch will be served. The trek then continues downhill to Pacaymayo Camp (3,500 m / 11,482 ft), where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6:- Inca Trail (Pacaymayo - Phuyupatamarca - Wiñayhuayna)

After breakfast, the ascent begins toward the second most important pass of the Inca Trail, located at 3,900 meters above sea level (12,795 ft.). Along the way, you’ll enjoy a guided visit to the Runkurakay Archaeological Complex, an ancient Inca site believed to have served as a resting and ceremonial place for travelers.

Continuing the trek, you’ll reach the Inca citadel of Sayacmarca (3,600 m / 11,811 ft.), where your guide will explain its unique architecture and historical significance.

Afterward, you’ll stop for lunch at Chaquicocha before continuing the hike through lush Andean cloud forest. You’ll pass by Phuyupatamarca, known as the “Town in the Clouds”, one of the most well-preserved Inca sites, where you’ll have a brief stop to appreciate the views and structures.

The trail then leads to Wiñayhuayna (“Forever Young”), a stunning archaeological site perched on the mountainside. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of this impressive site before having dinner and spending the night at the campsite.

Day 7:- Wiñayhuayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco

After an early breakfast around 5:00 a.m., you’ll begin your final day of trekking with a one-hour walk through the cloud forest, leading to the iconic Inti Punku (Sun Gate) — the original entrance to Machu Picchu during Inca times. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the majestic citadel bathed in the morning light.

Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, you’ll embark on a guided tour of approximately two hours, during which your guide will explain the history and significance of the site. You’ll visit the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and other important structures within the citadel.

After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore Machu Picchu on your own before meeting the rest of your group for the bus transfer down to Aguas Calientes.

In the afternoon, you’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Evening free: We recommend dining at one of Cusco’s many local restaurants and enjoying a relaxed stroll around the Main Square (Plaza de Armas).

Day 8:- Cusco Day off

Day at leisure for personal activities. You may choose to relax, explore Cusco on your own, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy optional excursions available in the city.
 
 

Day 9:- Cusco - San Pedro

We will depart from Cusco at 5:30 a.m. heading towards the town of San Pedro, where you will enjoy an exciting 4-hour mountain biking tour through scenic landscapes until reaching Ajanacu, located at 3,500 meters above sea level. After this thrilling adventure, we will arrive at the Cock of the Rock Lodge, where we will spend the night.

Day 10:- San Pedro /Atalaya /Amazonia Lodge.

At 5:30 a.m., we will head to the Cock of the Rock observation point, where we will have the opportunity to observe Peru’s iconic bird in its natural habitat. You will witness the fascinating courtship ritual, where multiple males perform elaborate dances to attract the attention of the females resting nearby on the branches. This unique display is truly a spectacular experience.

Afterwards, we return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, we travel to Pilcopata, where you’ll enjoy an exciting river rafting adventure along the Pilcopata River to Atalaya, a thrilling activity that will surely raise your adrenaline. After rafting, we continue our journey by boat along the Amazon River, heading deeper into the jungle.

Day 11:- Amazonía Lodge.

Today you will have a free day to relax and enjoy the lodge facilities at your own pace. Take the opportunity to explore the surrounding jungle, where you can observe a variety of wildlife, including colorful birds, playful monkeys, and other fascinating species native to the Amazon. Optional activities, such as guided nature walks or short boat rides, may also be available for those who wish to further explore the area.
 
 

Day 12:- Amazonía Lodge/ Atalaya/ Cusco.

Early morning, after breakfast, you’ll board a boat to return to Atalaya Port. From there, a private vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time around 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival in Cusco, you’ll be transferred directly to your hotel for check-in and rest after the journey.

Day 13:- Cusco/Lima

At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, where you can connect with your international flight back to your country.
