Day 1:- International arrival in Lima
Day 2:- Lima City Tour
Morning free to rest after your international arrival. We recommend taking the morning to relax and recover from your trip, ensuring you’re well-rested to begin your journey through Peru. Free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Lima, known as the “City of Kings.” The tour covers the Historic Centre of Lima, including Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral, and its Religious Art Museum. Visit the Church of Santo Domingo, where the tombs of Santa Rosa de Lima and San Martin de Porres are located, and admire Lima’s colonial balconies.
Next, explore the Convent and Church of San Francisco, considered the most important monumental complex of colonial art in America and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Basilica with its 21 altars, the cloisters, chapter rooms, the priest’s library, paintings by the Rubens School, works of Zurbarán and Ribera, the Sevillian tile-decorated patio, Moorish arches, and the famous underground catacombs.
Continue the tour through the modern residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing the Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial and administrative center from the 2nd century A.D., considered sacred by the Incas. You’ll also visit El Olivar Park, with olive trees brought from Spain, the Central Park of Miraflores, and Larcomar, a modern commercial and entertainment complex offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
At the end of the tour, return to your hotel for overnight.
Day 3:- Lima / Chiclayo: Lord of Sipán and Tumbas Reales Museum.
Early morning, transfer to Lima Airport for your flight to Chiclayo. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.
Your day begins with an excursion to the impressive Huaca Rajada, an ancient Mochica funerary complex where numerous tombs have been unearthed. It is here that archaeologists, led by Dr. Walter Alva, discovered the Tomb of the Old Lord of Sipán (3rd Century) and the Tomb of the Lord of Sipán (5th Century) in the 1980s. These remarkable finds, rich in gold and semi-precious stones, revealed invaluable insights into the Mochica culture.
Time for lunch (not included).
In the afternoon, visit the renowned Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum, considered one of the finest and most modern museums in South America. Explore the detailed replica of the Lord of Sipán’s tomb and admire a remarkable collection of ceramic pieces, jewelry, and ceremonial artifacts recovered from the original burial site.
At the end of the day, return to your hotel for overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 4:-Chiclayo: The Sicán Museum - Pómac - Túcume and the Brûning Museum
After breakfast, begin your full-day excursion with a visit to the Sicán Museum, located approximately 36 km northeast of Chiclayo (about 20 minutes by road). Here, you’ll explore remarkable treasures from the Sicán Culture, carefully studied by the renowned archaeologist Dr. Izumi Shimada. The museum not only showcases recreations of ancient tombs but also offers a deeper interpretation of Sicán society, their daily life, worldview, and artisanal skills.
Next, continue to the Historical and Cultural Sanctuary of the Pómac Forest, in the village of Batangrande, Ferreñafe Province. This unique area features a complex of 20 adobe pyramids spread across 46 square kilometers, including significant structures like Huaca de Oro, El Santillo de la Cruz, Horno de los Ingenieros, and Las Abejas. It’s believed to be a key site for the development of the Sicán Culture.
Time for lunch (not included).
Afterwards, visit the impressive Túcume Archaeological Complex, covering 220 hectares and home to 26 adobe pyramids. Among them is Huaca Larga, the largest of its kind in South America, measuring 700 meters in length, 280 meters in width, and 30 meters in height.
Finally, conclude your day with a visit to the Brüning Museum, which houses an extensive collection of artifacts from Peru’s major pre-Hispanic cultures, including Moche, Lambayeque (Sicán), Chimú, and Inca civilizations. Don’t miss the Gold Room, featuring over 500 dazzling gold pieces.
Return to your hotel in Chiclayo for overnight.
Day 5:- Chiclayo - Trujillo
After breakfast, you will be transferred by comfortable tourist bus to the city of Trujillo, a journey of approximately 3 hours along Peru’s northern coast. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your selected hotel.
Rest of the day free to relax or explore the city at your own pace. You may choose to stroll around Trujillo’s colonial center, visit its plazas and churches, or simply rest at your hotel to prepare for the next day’s excursions.
Day 6:- Trujillo/Lima: Temples of the Sun and the Moon
After breakfast, we will begin a morning excursion just 15 minutes south of Trujillo to visit the remarkable Temples of the Sun and the Moon. Built by the Mochica Culture in the 5th Century, these massive adobe structures represent significant ceremonial and administrative centers. The Temple of the Sun, considered the largest adobe pyramid in Peru, served primarily administrative purposes, while the Temple of the Moon functioned as a religious complex, housing an extensive burial ground and impressive polychrome murals depicting the Moche deity.
After the visit, we’ll return to your hotel for baggage collection and proceed with your transfer to Trujillo Airport, where you will receive assistance for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Day 7:- Lima - Paracas: Ballestas Islands / Nazca
Early in the morning, depart Lima by bus towards the Paracas Peninsula, home to the most important Wildlife Sanctuary on the Peruvian Coast. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where you’ll observe colonies of sea lions, boobies, pelicans, penguins, and various seabirds in their natural habitat. On the way back, from the boat, you’ll also admire the mysterious Candelabro (Candelabrum), a giant geoglyph etched into the sand hillside, similar in style to the Nazca Lines.
After the excursion, there will be free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, continue your journey by bus to the City of Nazca, where you’ll check in to your hotel for overnight. Free evening to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities.
Day 8:- Nazca: Nazca Lines / Arequipa
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nazca Airport for a 45-minute scenic flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. From the air, you’ll admire enormous lineal drawings of animals, birds, and geometric figures etched into the desert sands—enigmatic creations that can only be fully appreciated from above.
Around midday, depart by tourist bus to the city of Arequipa (approximately 8 hours), traveling through desert landscapes and coastal valleys. Along the way, brief stops will be made at scenic viewpoints to rest and take in the surrounding views.
Upon arrival in the White City of Arequipa, so called for its buildings constructed from white volcanic stone (sillar) from the nearby Misti Volcano, meet your guide and transfer to your selected hotel.
Evening at leisure. We recommend dining at Sambambaia’s or La Truffa, two popular restaurants in the city.
Day 9:- Arequipa: City tour
Breakfast at your hotel.
Today’s tour begins in the Main Square of Arequipa, considered one of the most beautiful plazas in Peru. Visit the Cathedral, a prime example of 19th-century Peruvian architecture, home to impressive treasures in gold and silver.
Next, explore the La Compañía Church, a historic Jesuit temple admired for its ornate façade carved with columns, laurel crowns, flowers, and birds. A closer look reveals indigenous influences: angels with native features and headdresses of feathers.
Continue to the Santa Catalina Convent, often referred to as a “small city within the city.” Built in the 17th century and opened to the public in 1970 after 400 years of cloistered life, this convent feels like a journey back in time. Wander through its spacious patios, colorful cloisters, kitchens, slave quarters, and stone washtubs. Today, about 20 nuns still live in a private section of the convent.
Return to your selected hotel in Arequipa.
Lunch is on your own. We recommend dining at the traditional Sol de Mayo Restaurant, known for its regional cuisine and garden setting.
Day 10:- Arequipa: Colca Canyon
Early in the morning, departure for a scenic 4-hour journey by bus towards the impressive Colca Canyon, recognized as one of the deepest canyons in the world (3,180 meters).
Along the way, travel across the Pampa Cañahuas within the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to herds of vicuñas and alpacas, South America’s iconic camelids. Reach the highest point of the route at 4,350 meters above sea level, where you can appreciate panoramic views of the surrounding volcanic landscapes.
You will also observe pre-Columbian agricultural terraces, still cultivated by the native Collagua people, preserving centuries-old farming techniques.
Upon arrival at the Colca Valley, transfer to your selected lodge.
Lunch is at your own expense.
In the afternoon, rest is recommended to help your body acclimatize to the altitude. If you feel well, enjoy a gentle stroll around the lodge’s surroundings, or relax with a rejuvenating bath in the local hot springs, located nearby.
Day 11:- Colca: Condor Cross / Arequipa
Early in the morning, departure towards the famous “Cruz del Cóndor” (Condor’s Cross), the best viewpoint of the Colca Canyon, where—with some luck—you will witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor, the largest flying bird in the world, soaring gracefully between the canyon walls.
During the return journey, visit the traditional colonial towns of Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma, and Maca, where you can admire their picturesque colonial churches and observe the daily life of local residents, whose customs and traditions remain largely unchanged since Inca times.
Lunch at a local restaurant (not included).
By late afternoon, return to your selected hotel in Arequipa.
Evening free to rest or explore the city at your own pace.
Day 13:- Puno: Titicaca Lake, Floating Islands of the Uros and Taquile Island
Breakfast at your hotel.
Early in the morning, we will embark on an unforgettable motorboat excursion on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, to visit the famous Floating Islands of the Uros. These unique artificial islands are constructed by their inhabitants, the Uros people, using layers of totora reeds, which are continually replenished. Their homes and boats are also built from this same material. During the visit, you’ll learn about their ancestral customs and way of life, preserved over generations.
We will continue sailing to the picturesque Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking locals, known for their exceptional weaving techniques, considered among the finest in the world. The islanders’ distinctive social organization and traditions are integral to their daily life.
Upon arrival at Taquile Town, we will enjoy a typical lunch prepared with local products.
After lunch, take a scenic walk through the hills and archaeological sites of this 6-kilometer-long island, while appreciating the panoramic views of the lake.
In the afternoon, return to Puno by boat, and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

- Continuing the journey, we stop at Raqchi, to explore the remarkable Temple of Wiracocha, a massive Inca sanctuary built by Inca Pachacutec. This site features a tall central wall with finely crafted stone foundations and adobe upper walls, accompanied by circular side structures and surrounding storage facilities.
- Later, we pass the La Raya Pass, the highest point of the journey, where we can observe herds of llamas and vicuñas grazing in the surrounding landscapes.
- Along the way, we’ll enjoy views of the serene Lake Wacarpay, reflecting the Andes mountains in its calm waters.

Safari8002502024-05-04Verificada The magical trip of my life I met Cusco Wonder travel through Facebook. Rubén called me and gave me the best explanations to clear up my doubts. He is very friendly and super reliable, all the reservations I made from Argentina were fulfilled. I dreamed of Machu Picchu, and this tourism agency made it come true and at the best price. Consider that I was traveling alone to an unknown country. They went to pick me up at the bus station, they gave me the bus and train tickets to get to Aguas Calientes. They accompanied me to get the ticket and to the accommodation. The next day we left with our guide towards the fabulous ruins. The explanation was brilliant and entertaining. At the height of that unique moment in the life of each of the passengers. I visited Puente del Inca and I was looking forward to returning to do the Inca Trail with them, which takes 4 days with everything included. I recommend them, they are the best.
