ITINERARY
Day 1:- Arequipa in - City Tour
Reception and transfer to your hotel. After some time to rest, we will begin our city tour of Arequipa, also known as the White City. Our first stop will be the Main Square, where we’ll admire its elegant bronze fountain with three tiers, crowned by a figure of a 16th-century soldier. We will also visit the Church of the Society of Jesus, famous for its ornate baroque façade.
Next, we will visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, once a cloistered convent that remained closed to the public for centuries. Today, it has been beautifully restored and opened to visitors, offering a unique glimpse into life in Arequipa during the 17th century. Inside, we’ll explore its narrow streets, colorful gardens, and high volcanic stone walls.
Finally, we will drive to the Yanahuara Viewpoint, located in the countryside, where you’ll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the city and the surrounding volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Pichupichu.
Return to your hotel.

Day 2:- Excursion to the Countryside
After breakfast, we will begin the day with a visit to the town of Cayma, where we will explore its colonial church and charming main square. We will then continue to the Sachaca Viewpoint, which offers a panoramic view of the Sachaca district, its green countryside, and the surrounding volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Pichupichu.
Our next stop will be the Founder’s Mansion, a large colonial estate dating back to the 16th century, which once belonged to the founder of Arequipa. The house has been carefully preserved, showcasing its historical significance and colonial architecture.
We will then continue to the picturesque Sabandía Mill, located in the lush countryside. This traditional district is known for its agriculture and livestock farming. Here, you will see a hydraulic mill built in 1621, a remarkable example of colonial engineering.
Finally, we will visit the district of Paucarpata, where we’ll explore its main square and church, and observe an impressive system of Inca and pre-Inca agricultural terraces, still in use today.
Return to your hotel.
Overnight in Arequipa.
Day 3:- Arequipa / Exit
Breakfast. At an appropriate time, transfer to the station/airport to return to the city of origin.
