In this tour, we will travel through mountains within the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, we will have the opportunity to see and enjoy picturesque towns dedicated to the work of crafts, ceramics and agriculture, We will visit several tourist attractions such as: chinchero (Market typical, colonial temple and archaeological site), agricultural terraces of Moray (It was one of the most important agriculture experimental center of the Inca empire), Salineras de Maras (Salt Mines that are currently worked by the people of Maras), Ollantaytambo ( Inka fortress and temple, also known as the living Inca city) and finally the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world and the best tourist attraction of South America.
ITINERARY
DAY 1.- CUSCO – MARAS MORAY – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES.
we start at 7:30 a.m. We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco, then we will drive the upper part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will visit the typical market of Chinchero and the Colonial Temple. Moray (agricultural and experimentation center) and the Maras salt mines. After the visits, we head to the city of Urubamba where we have lunch in one of the restaurants located there, they usually offer a buffet lunch (this lunch is optional and costs $ 20 USD per person)
After lunch, will drive next to the Urubamba River towards the town of Ollantaytambo. Once we reach Ollantaytambo we will visit the Inka City, and the important area of Incan construction, built during the Inca’s heydays, where descendants of the Incas are still living in the inkas houses.
finally we will take you to the train station, you will board the train which leaves at 3:37 pm to Aguas Calientes town two hours ride, on the way you will see breathtaking valley, snow capped mountains and gorgeus inka farming terraces and inka remains. finally arriving to Aguas Calientes wich it`s located at (2000m/6000ft above sea level) arriving in Aguas Calientes our staff will meet you just outside the train station and take you to your Hotel.

DAY 2.- AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU TOUR – CUSCO.
