ITINERARY

Day 1:- Cusco - City Tour + 4 Ruins

Assistance on arrival in Cusco and transfer to your selected hotel. Free time to take a short rest to get acclimatized to the altitude. In the afternoon, city tour of Cuzco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. On the way back, pass by the Hatunrumiyoc Street where you can appreciate the Twelve-angled stone.
Then, drive out of the city to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built strategically on a hill overlooking Cusco; famous for its enormous carved stones joined with astounding precision to form the outer walls. Some of these stones stand over 9m / 30ft tall, and weight over 350 tons. Overnight at selected hotel in Cusco.

Day 2: Cusco - Machu Picchu

Early in the morning, we take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating «Islands» of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their own «islands» by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique to the area called «Totora». Their homes and boats are also made from this material. We continue our motorboat trip to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques, down through the generations. Upon arrival at the Town of Taquile we will have a lunch. Then we will walk through the various hills and archaeological sites of this 6km long island. In the afternoon, return to Puno for overnight at selected hotel.

Day 3:- Cusco / Exit

After breakfast, transfer assistance on your departure.

  The magical trip of my life
I met Cusco Wonder travel through Facebook. Rubén called me and gave me the best explanations to clear up my doubts. He is very friendly and super reliable, all the reservations I made from Argentina were fulfilled. I dreamed of Machu Picchu, and this tourism agency made it come true and at the best price. Consider that I was traveling alone to an unknown country. They went to pick me up at the bus station, they gave me the bus and train tickets to get to Aguas Calientes. They accompanied me to get the ticket and to the accommodation. The next day we left with our guide towards the fabulous ruins. The explanation was brilliant and entertaining. At the height of that unique moment in the life of each of the passengers. I visited Puente del Inca and I was looking forward to returning to do the Inca Trail with them, which takes 4 days with everything included. I recommend them, they are the best.
