5:30 AM – We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer you by private vehicle to the Ollantaytambo train station (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). There, we’ll board the train for a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley towards the town of Aguas Calientes (2,000 m / 6,560 ft.), which takes about 2 hours.

Upon arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes, your guide will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. Together, you’ll head to the bus station for a 30-minute ascent along a zigzag road to reach the entrance of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary – known as the Lost City of the Incas.

After passing the checkpoint (where you’ll need to show your ticket and passport), you’ll begin your private guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour (approximately 2 to 3 hours), you’ll explore iconic areas such as:

• The Main Plaza
• The Temple of the Sun
• The Sacred Sundial
• The Royal Quarters
• The Temple of the Three Windows
• Agricultural terraces and ceremonial sites

After the guided visit, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu at your own pace. Optional hikes include:

• Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain (additional cost: USD 35 per person – advance booking required).
• Sun Gate (Inti Punku) or the Inca Bridge (no additional cost).

At the scheduled time, you will descend by bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time for lunch (not included). Later, you’ll board your return train to Ollantaytambo, where private transport will be waiting to drive you back to Cusco.
